This week we have been guiding a birdwatchers group from North Ireland with our colegue Pau Lucio (Birdwatching Spain). We’ve been birding in Serra de Mariola, El Hondo y Santa Pola Natural Parks.
Many interesting shigtings of forest and mountain birds the first day highligthing Alpine Accentor and Golden Eagle.
The second day we enjoy amazing moments in El Hondo with two exceptional birds we were lucky too observe: Greater Spotted Eagle and Sociable lapwing wich were «first in life» for most of us.
This trip has been organized in collaboration with the «Asociación de Guías de Birding de la Com. Valenciana» for NIOC (North Ireland Ornithologist’s Club) and was continued for our colegues Dave Warrington (Birding Valencia) and Yanina Maggiotto (Visit Natura).
